Hello, I’m Lela. I’m more than the founder of Golden Whisk Bakery — I’m its soul.

A devoted wife, nurturing mom, and loyal friend, I bring the same love and care to my baking as I do to every relationship in my life. My kitchen isn’t just where recipes come to life — it’s where memories are made, laughter is shared, and joy is baked into every bite.

From the first swirl of frosting to the final dusting of edible glitter, each creation reflects my belief that desserts should feel like hugs. What began as a way to comfort and celebrate my family quickly became a calling to share that same warmth with my community.

Whether I’m whipping up golden cupcakes for a birthday, crafting whimsical cookies for a baby shower, or designing bedazzled cakes that sparkle with personality, I pour my heart into every detail. My signature style — playful, elegant, and joyfully over-the-top — mirrors my own spirit: radiant, generous, and full of life.

Golden Whisk isn’t just a bakery. It’s a love letter to the people who inspire me daily — my husband, who cheers me on; our children, who taste-test with delight; and my friends, who remind me that sweetness is best when shared.

This bakery also carries the legacy of love, flour, and fierce women who baked with heart. My mom was a baker. So was my mother-in-law. Their kitchens were filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of magic that only rises in the oven. Even while working in retail, I found myself drawn to baking — sneaking in late-night cookie experiments, dreaming up cake flavors, and imagining a place where joy could be served by the dozen.

That dream is now a reality.

At Golden Whisk Bakery, every treat is a tribute to the women who came before us and to the love that fuels us today. We blend elegance with playfulness, crafting sweets that shimmer with personality and comfort. Whether it’s a bedazzled birthday cake or a golden sugar cookie, we bake with intention, emotion, and a whole lot of butter.

This isn’t just a bakery — it’s a celebration of heritage, heart, and the belief that joy should be shared, one bite at a time.
